Brynn Shanahan

Director/Instructor

Brynn began her early dance training with the Maryland Conservatory, the Maryland School of Ballet and Modern Dance and later Harford Dance @ HCC and the Harford Dance Theatre. She attended intensive summer training at both Goucher College Dance Department and the Kirov Universal Ballet.  Brynn’s pursuit of various non-conventional types of dance led her to dance competitively with the C. Milton Wright Competitive Dance Team, The Vipers and Entourage performing modern, jazz and hip-hop styles of dance.

Brynn’s passion for teaching dance, particularly to children, began in 2010 with Churchville Dance. In 2012 she was made the artistic director of the Churchville Dance program where she also became certified in Zumba and Mat Pilates in an effort to add more dimensions to her program.  Brynn currently choreographs pieces for her competition teams and Harford Dance Theater. Her work and relationships with some of the most talented instructors, choreographers and dancers in the region will provide for the best instruction and training in all forms of dance.
